Basic
Care and Boarding:
-
All horses are provided with top quality hay and feed, with supplements (provided
by owners) administered, as required.
-
All horses are turned out on a daily basis for at least one half of the day, weather permitting, in our lush fields and paddocks, with water and hay provided to them
while turned out. Full day turnout is also available for those horses suited to group turnout.
-
All horses are kept on a rotational deworming schedule. The farm will also arrange
for farrier service and will oversee all veterinarian requirements if so desired.
Medications will be administered as prescribed.
-
All horses are checked regularly through the day, and during night check to ensure their safety and well being. Our manager is available 24 hours.
-
In addition to the above, Full Service Board is available. Likewise, facilities
for retirement and lay-ups in our other 5 barns are also available. Our retirees
and lay-ups spend their days grazing peacefully in our lush 10 acre fields which
are serviced by our spacious (36' X 60') Run-in Sheds, with heated automatic
waterers. All horses are treated with the utmost care and concern for their
well being, and are hayed and fed, individually, twice per day, with their diets
adjusted and monitored to ensure optimum health.
